What's your headcanon on how Tifa ran into Barret and AVALANCHE?

One day, while walking back to the bar from picking up groceries from the upper level, a group of thugs was following Tifa and tried to rob her. One of them walking towards her, tries to snatch her but Tifa drops her bags and puts her gloves on. Barret, who was looking for this group of thugs, comes running in, but is shocked to see this petite young lady take on a group on this group.
One of theme gets cocky and laughs trying to charge towards Tifa, but Tifa snatches him, and throws him into the wall. This group gets angry and they all charge after her, but she preforms Beat Rush and Meteor Strike. The rest of the group runs away, and Tifa picks up her bags.
Barret stunned but totally amazed comes running up to her saying how that was the coolest thing he's ever seen, and how she knew how to do that. Tifa, who is very humble about it, tells Barret she didn't see him there and that she learned when she was just a teenage girl.
Barret then tells her she should join AVALANCHE, but Tifa shakes her head thinking they'd never want her to join. Barret informs her that he's in it, and she can come aboard to help save the planet thus giving Tifa joining.
The group is a little doubtful of her, but after Marlene being Tifa's little side kick in the bar and her showing off her fighting skills, they accept her and are very much fond of her.

I headcanon that Tifa sought AVALANCHE out. She was angry over Nibelheim and hated Shinra. I figure she sniffed around and found out where to find Barret. He had his doubts at first but she proved herself capable and quickly blended with the team. Everyone liked her when she was a kid, and now, even through her anger, she still fits in because the others are angry too.
(I used to have more on this I haven't thought about it in a while)

Hmm... Zangan being the one who brought her to Midgar (or close by) I like to think that either Zangan trusted Barret to take over the care for Tifa while he continued on his journey, orrr.... maybe something happened to Zangan and Barret found Tifa and helped her get back on her feet.
Of course after some snooping and figuring out what Barret's group is about, Tifa offers them a hideout and gains a membership in AVALANCHE.
